IN THE MAP PACK
Local SEO, team pages and season planning, aimed at the parent looking for a club on a Sunday evening in August, with the new school year a week away.
Almost every search is local and most are made by parents: football for kids near me, swimming lessons in a particular town, a tennis club with coaching. They pick from what appears on the map, so the work is mostly on your Google listing and on a few clear pages. The other difference is timing. Clubs fill up at the start of the season and in January, and the rankings have to be there before those weeks, not during them.
One family that joins stays for years, often with more than one child, and brings their friends. A handful of extra sign-ups a season covers the work several times over. We also keep it simple to maintain: the pages we build do not need a volunteer to update them every week.
For members who already follow you, yes. For a parent searching on Google, no. Facebook posts rarely show up in search, and a fixture or a trial date from three months ago is buried under everything since. We move the things people search for, like sessions, fees, age groups and how to join, onto pages Google can read, and keep social for the day-to-day.
The answers to the first three questions every parent asks: which age groups you take, when they train and how much it costs. Most club sites have a history page and a gallery and leave those out. A clear page per team or age group, with times, fees and a way to book a free trial session, does more than anything else we do.
It adds a second audience that searches every day, not once a season: padel court near me, tennis court to book tonight. Those searches want a price, the hours and a booking link one tap away. We give court hire its own page and its own place on your Google listing, so it brings in players between the seasons as well.
Access to your site, analytics, Search Console and Google Business Profile, your teams and age groups with training times and fees, and a few good photos of the ground and the players. That is enough to start. The rest we set up with you.
