Notes on Duel

Found internal Stake docs showing they're scared of exactly one competitor. It's not who you think.

I don't usually write about specific casinos, but Duel's "The First Casino That Gives a Fuck" campaign is fucking brilliant.

They're already doing what nobody else has balls to do, actually caring about players. But here's what's insane: they're leaving $50M+ annual revenue on the table.

Not because they're incompetent, but because they're focused on product while Stake bleeds money on sponsorships.

Ran some numbers out of curiosity:

• "sweet bonanza" -> 425k monthly searches
• "online blackjack" -> 140k monthly searches
• "plinko game" -> 150k monthly searches
• Many more

Conservative math: 8M+ high-converting visitors/month.

Also, every "best online casino" Reddit thread follows the exact same script: Someone shills Stake -> Five people bitch about withdrawals -> Nobody mentions Duel

One authentic comment saying "got my $5k from Duel in 3 minutes" would break that pattern forever. But they're not even trying :/

That https://duel.com/wtf-duel page? Should be on TechCrunch tomorrow. Instead it's literally sitting there like a winning lottery ticket nobody's cashed.

The irony is beautiful. While Stake's burning $100M on Drake and Adin Ross, there's an entire generation typing "online casino that actually pays out" into Google.

Guess what they find?

Nothing. Because nobody optimized for giving a fuck.

Duel's already won the hard part, building something people actually want. The easy part they're ignoring could 10x them in 2026.

But maybe that's the point. Maybe you can't optimize for giving a fuck. Maybe the moment you try, you stop.
